This is a precise and professional cutting tool for solid, stranded and flexible cables up to AWG 6 (16 mm). It has textured handles & hand-stops to prevent slips and the blades are outlined for two ranges of conductor sizes. This tool allows precise and effortless cuts to be made and is the perfect cutter for coax and UTP cables as it does not deform the shape of the cable. The blades can be sharpened with a round file. This tool is not designed for use on steel, aluminum alloys or hard-drawn copper cables.
